On a very hot Wednesday evening (24th June) the Provincial team led by the RW Provincial Grand Master, with the Deputy PGM and 15 other visiting brethren, attended the Court of Aethelwulf No.40 in Dore, Sheffield for the installation of Michael Presson as Worshipful Master.
The ceremony went well despite a number of unavoidable absences of court members due to illness or holidays, and following the ceremony the new WM gave a talk entitled "Tyling the Moon, A Short History of Freemasons in Space" which was well received by those in attendance. The witan was a very enjoyable affair despite the heat, and the Court of Aethelwulf looks forward to extending a more symbolic, and less literal, warm welcome to our guests in the future!
